Pelos de Plumas finished painting the front of a house in Palermo on Sunday and has given it a spectacular new look. It’s a property Pelos de Plumas has painted before and the owner Miguel gave the Argentine street artist free reign to let loose his talents.
Street artists Primo have been forced to repaint a new mural all over again after their original design was painted over before it was finished. The duo of Sasha Reisin and Nicolás Germani spent a whole day painting the original artwork in Nuñez and despite writing a message reading ‘mural in progress’, when they returned to complete the job last week they discovered it had been ruined.

Street art tribute to Adam Yauch (MCA) from the Beastie Boys in Buenos Aires that was painted by El Marian on Sunday. The new mural by the Argentine street artist remembers the American rapper more commonly known as MCA who died on 4th May aged 47 after a long battle with cancer. El Marian’s portrait forms part of a collaboration with Milu Correch, Anita Messina and ByGermy.

La Plata, the provincial capital of Buenos Aires, will be hosting its first Latin American graffiti meeting on 12th, 13th and 14th October. Street artists from Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru and Venezuela will be staying in La Plata and painting some huge walls around the city as part of the Zig Zag festival.

Ene Ene has painted a cool new piece he’s called the ‘Parasite Machine’ in Villa Crespo on the facade of a boarded up house. The Chilean street artist told BA Street Art about his latest creation. “It’s a Maquina Parásito (Parasite Machine) that absorbs the the life of the planet, the monopoly of resources, the over-exploitation. It’s a great insect that is sucking the marrow like a blood-sucking leech. More than human blood it is the Blood of the Earth.”
Patxi Mazzoni Alonso completed a new mural in Palermo last night that features a painting punk. The stunning artwork took him two days and has already been seen by thousands of people passing under the railway bridge in front of Palermo station.
This is a fantastic new mural that was painted in Villa Urquiza a couple of weeks ago. It’s not an artist who we’re familiar with so it makes it all the more interesting.
