Alfredo Segatori has been working on a new mural in Palermo outside Club 69. The design features a character relaxing and listening to music on his Walkman and a tribute to ‘the Godfather of Soul’ James Brown.

Amazing new cubes and letters painted by Nerf to add to the cool robot he painted a couple of weeks ago. The designs are part of the UrBAno Art project to redecorate a children’s playground and public park in Palermo.
Matias from Coghlan contacted Buenos Aires Street Art a few weeks ago looking for an artist to transform his house. This is the result – a stunning new appearance designed and created by Pelos de Plumas.

For several months the front of Matias’ house was covered with unslightly graffiti and he was thinking it would be a great idea to get a street artist to brighten it up with a completely different look.

Pelos de Plumas started working on the house a couple of weeks ago before going to Neuquén where he was holding a gallery exhibition of his artworks entitled Expo Genesis 2011.

Matias’ wife Lucia said: “What Pelos has painted is beautiful but apart from his amazing artwork the best thing is that neighbours and people we hadn’t met before are telling us how much they like the house and we have made lots of new friends.”

Today is a national holiday in India named Gandhi Jayanti to mark the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi. Gandhi was born on October 2, 1869 and the day is celebrated as the International Day of Non-Violence. Here are a pair of stencils in Buenos Aires depicting Gandhi and Albert Einstein saying: “We are those who expect a little more.”??
