There’s even more than meets the eye when you see the wonderful works by Colombian street artist Nice Naranja. His imaginative designs of animals and birds stand out for their amazing spectrum of colours as much as their incredible attention to detail. His art, however, also carries a poignant message about mankind upsetting nature’s delicate balance.
Blu is in Buenos Aires and has just finished painting another politically charged mural. It features six figures being roasted on a grill by the flames from a huge pile of burning bank notes. Argentines love to have barbecues (asados) and it looks like Blu has chosen a similar theme for his latest critique.
Triángulo Dorado have painted a stunning new mural in Olivos. It features an underwater scene.
Jaz, Ice, Nerf, Dano, Shonis, Isag, Mart, Nacho, Maur, Zear, Tues and Australian street artist Palms painted a giant wall on Saturday. The artists enjoyed an ‘asado’ (Argentine barbecue) in the sun and created some impressive pieces and burners. Cuore, Ene Ene, Malegria and Pelos de Plumas completed an amazing series of artworks together over the weekend in the courtyard of El Quetzal, the multi-space and gallery in Palermo.
The artists spent two days working on their designs so everything was ready for the party and opening of their gallery exhibition entitled Festival de Corazones on Saturday night. It was a great party so thanks to everyone involved. Check out the artworks and paintings by Cuore, Ene Ene, Malegria and Pelos de Plumas that will be on display at El Quetzal (Guatemala 4516, Palermo) until the end of the month.
