Blu, Os Gêmeos, Sam3, Ericailcane and Lucy Mclauchlan made some stunning murals for the Crono urban art project in Lisbon last year. Photos by Buenos Aires Street Art.
The artworks by Blu, Os Gemeos, Ericailcane, Sam3 and Lucy Mclauchlan cover the main facades of three four-storey buildings lining Avenida Fontes Pereira de Molo near Picoas metro station.
Italian artist Blu has painted a corporate figure in a suit sucking the world dry. On his head is a gold crown with the logos of the world’s richest oil companies including Chevron, Esso, Shell, BP, Agip and Texaco.
On the other facade Brazilian twins Os Gemeos have painted a giant character wearing a red hood with a badge saying ‘I love vandalism’ while he clutches a businessman who forms a human slingshot.
In the second phase of the project, Sam3 has cast a huge human shadow with a starry night scene on the front elevation of the middle of the three buildings, while next door Ericailane has created an enormous crouching crocodile.
