“Fear and Loathing in Buenos Aires” is the name of a new piece by graffiti artist Rana in the neighbourhood of Once. The artwork was inspired by the movie based on the novel by Hunter S. Thompson.
The craze first took off in the USA and yarn bombing is now catching on in Buenos Aires. Licia Santuz is the city’s first yarn bomber and has decorated trees, lamp posts and railings around the Argentine capital with her beautiful and colourful designs that she describes as “graffiti with wool”.
Ice describes him as ‘the best graffiti artist in Argentina’. And when you see the incredible artworks by Dame it’s easy to understand why so many of his peers hold him in such high regard.
