Ene Ene, Malegria, Savant and Patxi Mazzoni Alonso completed new artworks last Sunday night at the Zig Zag graffiti festival in La Plata, Buenos Aires.
More than 40 street artists finished painting new artworks on the third floor of Boutique nightclub in San Telmo last night turning the building with its architecture designed by Gustave Eiffel into a museum of urban art. Photographer Adri Godis was covering the ‘Wild Style’ urban art event for BA Street Art and as her wonderful photos show, the artists have brought some of the darker areas of the historic building to life with their colourful and imaginative designs. Ene Ene has just finished a cool new design in a square in downtown Buenos Aires that features a machine that sucks water from trees and drains the earth of its natural resources. The Chilean street artist has chosen a theme that relates to the seasons and the start of spring in Argentina.
Ene Ene has painted a cool new piece he’s called the ‘Parasite Machine’ in Villa Crespo on the facade of a boarded up house. The Chilean street artist told BA Street Art about his latest creation. “It’s a Maquina Parásito (Parasite Machine) that absorbs the the life of the planet, the monopoly of resources, the over-exploitation. It’s a great insect that is sucking the marrow like a blood-sucking leech. More than human blood it is the Blood of the Earth.”

Malegria and Ene Ene painted a new mural at Ferro Carril Oeste in Caballito last weekend to celebrate the anniversary of the foundation of the football club. Ferro is one of the oldest and most traditional football clubs in Argentina and was founded on 28th July 1904 under the full name ‘Club Atlético del Ferrocarril Oeste de Buenos Aires’ by a company of railway workers. The team is famous for its green and white strip and its emblem of a steam locomotive.
Malegria and Ene Ene finished a great new collaboration in San Telmo on Friday night that features a monster smoking a pipe from which a colourful gene-like creature appears with dozens of eyes.
