Super Mario tango mural in Buenos Aires by SumArtist

SumArtist from Canada has been in Buenos Aires and has painted a stunning new mural featuring Super Mario that was organised by Buenos Aires Street Art.

SumArtist (aka Paul Glyn-Williams) was visiting the Argentine capital in February and found time to complete this eye-catching mural in Coghlan featuring video game characters Super Mario and Princess Peach dancing the tango.

The mural relates to porteño culture with Super Mario and Princess Peach dancing the tango with the Obelisco in the background.

SumArtist is an international street artist from Toronto, now based in Montreal. Inspired by traditional graffiti and hip-hop culture, he has become well-known for painting large scale murals and hyper-realistic portraits with aerosol spray in both Canada and U.S.A. He’s also created giant murals and installations for important brands and sports teams including the Toronto Blue Jays.
