The Argentine street artist said he was amazed by the by amount of YouTube viewers who like to watch and upload videos of cats. Ever Siempre noted that there are 34 million videos featuring cats on YouTube while in 2014, two million videos of cats were uploaded receiving 26 million views.

Ever Siempre quoted a study entitled ‘Emotion, regulation, procrastination and watching cat videos online’, saying that after seeing videos of cats on the internet, people feel better “in a more positive frame of mind and with more energy.”
