Street art in Lujan at Museo de Bellas Artes

More than 20 street artists took part in a live painting event at the Museo de Bellas Artes Férnan Félix de Amador de Luján at the weekend and their finished paintings are now on show in the museum.

The artists participating were Lean Frizzera, Martin Ron, Cuore, Amor, Astor, Nase, Alan Sentir, Moko Estudio, Motha, More, Le Dorian, Clip4food, KWK, Tekaz, Neocs, Savant, Soloveo Paredes, Surdo, KTCT, Cowan, Satran, Cat Heaven and Muerte, Maku Bag and Renzillo Art.

The 24 paintings on canvas produced by the artists will be on display for another 19 days and will then be donated to mental hospitals, clinics, schools and other institutions and public facilities around the city of Luján, which is located 68 kilometres north west of the city of Buenos Aires.

Luján is famous for its enormous basilica built in honour of the Virgin of Luján, the patron saint of Argentina and a few of the artworks like that of Moko Studio (above right) have been inspired by her and the city being an important pilgrimage site.
