One of the most influential and talented street artists working in Buenos Aires today is Louis Danjou, more commonly known as Grolou. Buenos Aires Street Art caught up with the Frenchman who has left his stamp all over the city and Province of Buenos Aires with his amazing animals and eye-catching abstract designs. Grolou now lives in Quilmes in the Province of Buenos Aires and he told us about his project called Pinta tu Barrio.
Lean Frizzera, Emy Mariani and Martin Ron have just finished painting a brilliant new mural in Palermo depicting Diego Maradona’s infamous ‘Hand of God’ goal.
Dötz was in Buenos Aires this week and has painted a brilliant giant mural with BlaBla Buto featuring a character they’ve nicknamed the Yuppie Yeti. The huge collaboration in San Telmo measures about 12 x 30 metres and took the duo two and a half days to complete.
The fourth edition of the Aerosol Festival is taking place in Gonnet near La Plata this Sunday 29th July from 11am. Street artists invited include Amor, Blem, Nice, Fauno, Sap, Duple, Oshe, P. Mazzoni Alonso, Mati Quiroga, Borneo Modofokers, Mojo, Cobra (Mar del Plata), Embe (Mar del Plata), Morazul, Nube, Roger, Seu and Desto.
