German Embassy in Buenos Aires gets new mural by Leticia Bonetti & Martin Agazzi

Leticia Bonetti and Martin Agazzi have painted an eye-catching new mural outside the German Embassy in Buenos Aires with help from Buenos Aires Street Art.

The German Embassy in Buenos Aires contacted Buenos Aires Street Art a few months ago to help organise a mural on a wall on the corner of the embassy building in Belgrano.

The artist duo Leti Bonetti and Martin Agazzi were chosen for the project and have created a new mural celebrating the bilateral relations, union and friendship between Germany and Argentina.

The central figures in the artwork are a man wearing a German football shirt hugging a woman wearing one with the colours of the Argentine national team.

The mural also features iconic images from Berlin including the East Side Gallery, Brandenburg Gate, Senefelder Platz plus tourist sites and landmarks in Buenos Aires such as El Caminito, El Obelisco and Floralis Generica.
