Luz de Luna is a Peruvian artist whose work focuses heavily on saturated colours and loose brush strokes. Her themes are primarily portrait compositions combined with flora, fauna and solid elements. Through her work she seeks to reinterpret reality and express colour and joy.

Luz de Luna told BA Street Art about her new artwork: “In this piece, I portray a woman using one of my favorite colors: fuchsia. I strive to create contrasts when painting, but always aiming for colour harmony. In this mural, you can see the range of fuchsia tones moving towards purple and greens towards yellows; they don’t compete, they complement each other. My murals are always accompanied by flowers or stars, elements that I believe give the work a unique personal touch.”
