The new mural entitled ‘ Ojos de Buenos Aires’ by the Argentine street artist features a hyper-realistic portrait of a face with the eye of two different men morphed together.

The eyes feature an incredible level of detail with reflections on the pupils and irises.

The mural project was organised by architects’ firm Estudio Sasky that is designing and constructing new apartment blocks in the neighbourhood of Colegiales.

Colegiales is a residential neighbourhood next to Palermo that has seen many old houses being demolished in the last few years being replaced by new apartments, so it’s not clear how long Maxi’s mural will remain once construction starts.
