Born on October 23, 1951, the singer-songwriter, composer and record producer is considered one of the most important rock musicians in Argentina and Latin America.

Argentine street artist painted a spectacular mural of Charly along Avenida Del Libertador in Palermo in 2023. It features him conducting an orchestra using Buenos Aires’ famous landmark the Obelisk as a baton with a piano keyboard floating in the background.

Argentine street artist also painted an eye-catching portrait of Charly on the shutters of this bar in Palermo Hollywood. Much of the street art depicting Charly can be seen in Palermo which is the neighbourhood where he lives.
