Yasaman Mehrsa has been in Buenos Aires and found time to paint a fantastic new mural in Coghlan. Project organised and sponsored by Buenos Aires Street Art.

Yasaman is originally from Iran but now lives in Toronto, Canada where she has become well-known for painting her colourful murals all over the city.

Yasaman describes her art as inspired by nature – being both whimsical and vibrant, while expressing different emotions to inspire her audiences to discover their imagination, feelings, interaction and relationship with the natural environment.

She told Buenos Aires Street Art: “I like to tickle people’s imagination so they really think about what they see (in my murals). Is it a horse, is it a cow? They can just try to think what it might be.”

Saturday was Yasaman’s last day in the Argentine capital before flying to Lima, Perú.
