BA Street Art Gallery, a new exhibition space dedicated to contemporary Latin American art including works by street artists, has opened in Palermo Hollywood, Buenos Aires.

The first collection on display at BA Street Art Gallery includes artworks by street artists and graffiti artists from Chile, Colombia, Paraguay and Venezuela as well as Argentina. The gallery was founded by Matt Fox-Tucker who is director of Buenos Aires Street Art.
Opening collection includes works by artists who are best known for painting murals and graffiti in the street.

“The idea of BA Street Art Gallery is to support the local street art scene offering a new exhibition space for emerging as well as well-known artists,” says Fox-Tucker. “As well as dealing with commissions to paint canvases and artworks by some of the best known street artists in Argentina, Vault Gallery also offers smaller artworks for sale including prints and drawings that are affordable to street art enthusiasts and collectors alike.” The gallery plans to hold individual and group shows by different South American artists in the coming months.
