Alfredo Segatori paints factory building in Barracas

Alfredo Segatoir is painting a huge mural on a factory building in Barracas that includes portraits of real life people and workers from the neighbourhood. The project named ‘The Return of Quinquela’ is in its third phase and stretches an entire block close to the Riachuelo River.

This week, Argentine muralist Alfredo Segatori has been painting a giant portrait of his son Theo.

Pelado started this mural a month ago and said: “We are going to continue extending the mural on the adjacent houses and have the support of the neighbourhood and it is an unique experience and incredible to be painting and see the characters in the mural walking around and going about their daily business.”
