It’s the birthday of Bob Marley today. The reggae legend was born on February 6, 1945 and is famous for his hits with this band The Wailers such as One Love, No Woman No Cry, Buffalo Soldier, I Shot The Sheriff and Could You Be Loved. His greatest hits album ‘Legend‘ has sold more than 20 million copies worldwide.

We didn’t realise at the time but we came across this One Love stencil in Villa Devoto and it happened to be Bob Marley’s birthday the same day. Following his death on 11 May 1981 aged just 36 after suffering from a form of malignant melanoma, his appeal has continued to spread worldwide.
