Artists Corona, Mart and Maese Warrior made some cool interventions featuring more than 20 bicycles in the neighbourhood of Barracas. The project was organised by Sullair with the bikes decorating the walls that surround its offices. Sullair produces and rents plant, generators, cranes and lifting machines and the company also sponsored the second edition of the street art festival Meeting of Styles in December 2012.
Celine Hitier has painted a beautiful mural in Colegiales entitled ‘Alice and the Porteño Rabbit’ (Alicia y el Conejo Porteño). The artwork featuring influences from Lewis Carroll´s book Alice in Wonderland took the French artist a week to complete and was finished last month. Martin Ron has painted a new mural in Ciudadela, Buenos Aires together with Argentine artists Martin Agazzi, Dan Fogwill, Javier Martin and Anabel Matallan to commemorate the 32nd anniversary of the Malvinas Conflict on April 2. The mural shows a boy watching a puppet show with ex-leaders Margaret Thatcher and Leopoldo Galtieri depicted as puppets. Continue reading →
